There are many layers to this week’s lunar eclipse. It is the Moon’s return to your career sector on Monday that will begin the build up to a lunar eclipse less than 48 hours later, something that could create some intensity or even some tension and pressure. That is because, unlike the solar eclipse two weeks ago, a lunar eclipse is an eclipsing Full Moon, which is a result of the Sun and Moon moving into opposition. With Saturn and Pluto in retrograde motion here, this may bring up past issues and even shake some trees. Yet if that is all you see, which could be your reality at the time, you are only seeing a fraction of the real story. This is not an isolated or random event and is instead part of a much bigger picture. Six months ago, anything launched on a solar eclipse here in January has the potential to come to fruition. However, this is both a stepping stone to another solar eclipse in December and a chance to clear a path for the massive career developments later in the year.
For the most part, things settle down on the professional front this month, as both Saturn and Pluto recover from oppositions with Mars and Pluto in the second half of June. With both Saturn and Pluto in retrograde motion in your career sector, this was both a chance to address any work/life balance issues and also confront the past. This is Saturn’s last full retrograde phase in your career sector for another three decades, as he will begin to wrap up his three year visit next year. In retrograde motion, this is a chance to confront the past and also resolve old issues, ahead of lucky Jupiter’s return in December. However, while the Sun and Venus will both move into opposition with Saturn and Pluto this month, this won’t create the kind of professional pressure or work/life balance tension that last month’s oppositions did. This is partly because they aren’t as ferocious as Mars and not as ready for a fight. This will be more a chance to take an objective approach to keeping things moving professionally, at a time of year when the focus is more on your home and family life and matters. With Saturn and Pluto both in retrograde motion, this is a point in your professional year when it is more about regrouping and looking back through the rear view mirror. Things could become a lot more active when the Moon moves through your career sector from 15th July to 17th July. The Moon returns every four weeks, fuelling your professional instincts and imagination and with it a chance to check in. What makes this visit different is the lunar eclipse this will create on 17th July, with the potential to bring things to a head, turning and/or tipping point. There is a lot of focus on completion this month, finishing up projects or clearing a path for the new growth that Jupiter will bring. This lunar eclipse is a chance to fast track that process. With busy new developments on the job front from mid August, work/life balance should be an aim but not a challenge this month.
