Even though Mars has been in your busy work sector for 10 days by the time you move into the new week, it is only now that you will start to find the pace pick up. Something must have happened over the weekend, for where things left off last Friday is not how you will find them as you emerge on the other side of the weekend. All of a sudden things are fired up across the income, work and career fronts and all because of two events over the weekend. The first was Eris’ direct turn in your career sector, which has not only given career matters the green light but has shifted your focus from your 2019 professional year and onto this new professional year. The second was the Moon’s return for its first visit to your income sector for the year, with a friendly aspect to Eris and Mars on Monday energising things across the income, work and career fronts. This is the week when this new professional year really gets moving.
To begin with, there is the sound of silence on the professional front, which will be absolute music to your airs and with it a valuable chance to catch your breath. However, make the most of it because this is a very and I mean very short reprieve. It was only on 29th December, over the last weekend of 2019 that Mercury not only left your busy work sector but wrapped up continuous planetary activity here since October 2018. This includes the 13 months that Jupiter was here from November 2018 to December 2019 and the flurry of activity during his first and final months here. Moving into 2020 with no planetary activity in your work sector is something you are still adjusting to. While you have Chiron and Eris in your career sector, with Chiron still in his early weeks in direct motion and Eris at a standstill ahead of her direct turn on 11th January, they will be more than happy to take a break. If first impressions could be used as an accurate gauge to what the coming month will hold, then it would tell you that you have a quiet month and a chance to finally catch your breath. However, you know what they say about first impressions and in this instance, this really is a case of not judging a book by its cover. The biggest danger that I see this month, is failing to appreciate what a gift the early days of the month are and therefore failing to seize an opportunity to catch your breath. In reality, you have just two full days to catch your breath, New Year’s Day and the day after and then it is not only back into the game again, but in way that is likely to be busier than anything experienced last year. For it is on 3rd January that Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos but also the planet that likes to make things happen and get things done will return to your work sector. Returning a month after Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion left and with a massive amount of untapped job potential, Mars is the perfect planet to exploit this. With Mars here until 17th February, those first 48 hours of the month are an opportunity to recharge your batteries that can’t be missed.
