As this week’s lunar eclipse falls in Capricorn there is no escaping the impact this might have. Yet from the get go and from as soon as the Moon returns to Capricorn on Monday, there is a need to be aware that there are two realities playing out. The first reality is what you will see at the time, which is the Moon moving into opposition with the Sun less than 48 hours after returning, to create an eclipsing Full Moon. This might push buttons and with the Sun in his last full week in your relationship sector, create some personal and/or relationship tension. Yet while this might be the immediate implication, behind this something far more significant is going on. In the short term, as your personal and relationship needs clash this is another and more obvious chance to get to the heart of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. Under it all, what is really going on is a chance to push through old barriers, clearing a path for the major new personal beginnings, growth and opportunities ahead.
While tensions between your personal and relationship needs are still running high, a solar eclipse in your relationship sector on 3rd July and a lunar eclipse in Capricorn on 17th July could stoke the fires, in reality, things are dialling back. It was Mars’ opposition with Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn last month that saw tensions rise, with his departure from your relationship sector on 2nd July taking the heat out of things. With the Sun in your relationship sector until 23rd July, the spotlight will remain on your relationships and also on where this conflicts with your own needs. However with Venus, the planet of love in your relationship sector from 4th July to 28th July and Mercury, the planet of communication retrograding back in on 19th July, this is turning everything around. Saturn and Pluto are giving you enormous personal power and it is that unwillingness to compromise or to put your relationship needs ahead of your own, that is raising the bar. Yet Venus and Mercury are the two planets that can rise to the occasion, while a solar eclipse on 3rd July brings a chance to push the reset button. With Mercury retrograding back into your relationship sector on 19th July and Neptune spending his first full month in retrograde motion in your communication sector, they’re on hand to give your relationships, the past and unsaid words a voice. In the meantime, on the financial front, an area where there has been challenges in the past there is nothing but opportunities. There had been no planetary activity on the financial front since the North Node left last November but a huge amount of untapped potential. When Mars leaves your relationship sector and returns to your financial sector on 2nd July he will find none of the challenges and instead ripe field of financial potential and room for his financial passions and fighting spirit to take hold.
