The Moon continues to make an impact, though in a different way than it did last week. The Moon will spend the first 28 days of each year making a complete orbit of all 12 areas of your chart, giving you a window into each for the first time in the context of a new year. Last week the Moon travelled through areas of your chart where there isn’t a lot of planetary activity if any. It is a visit to one of those areas that is just wrapping up on Monday, with the Moon taking a deep dive into work and job matters. This week the Moon is travelling through a heavily populated part of the sky, amplifying the forces already there. It begins when the Moon joins Mars in your relationship sector on Monday, with the two fuelling a lot of strong emotional and passionate responses. On Wednesday the Moon is off for a deeper dive into money matters, just a day after the Sun leaves your financial sector. It is over the weekend that the Sun and Moon will meet up to create the first New Moon of 2020, in an adventurous part of your chart.
Any month that begins with six planets in your financial sector and will host a lunar eclipse in your income sector is going to have a lot of focus on money matters. While the six planets are on the side of the financial fence that is more focused on what you do with and how you manage the money you have, the lunar nodes continue to police a balance between money coming in and money going out. What the North Node in your income sector lacks in direct planetary activity there, it not only makes up for with its power to steer things in a lucrative direction but support from planets in your work and career sectors. While Mars will leave your work sector on 3rd January, ending all planetary activity on the career front, Venus’ return to your career sector on 14th January will simply shift the focus there. Venus will join Neptune, who has been a pivotal support for not only Mars in your work sector but the North Node in your income sector as well. It is the Moon’s visit to your income sector from 9th January to 12th January that will create the lunar eclipse on 10th/11th January. With Mercury not leaving your financial sector until 17th January and the Sun until 21st January, they will be on that side of the fence as the Moon moves through. This could see financial tensions rise during that time but this will increase the potential for a breakthrough on both fronts. In the meantime, while your financial and professional year gets off to an empowered start, your personal life is also being catered for. When Mars leaves your work sector on 3rd January it is to begin a nearly seven week visit to your relationship sector. You also start the year with Juno not only in a playful part of your chart but at a friendly aspect to Venus in an adventurous part. As it is Venus who will pick up from where Mars leaves off on the job front when she returns to your career sector, between them they are also making sure life doesn’t become all work and no play.
