Until a new round of planetary activity on the job front begins later next month the only planet in either of your two professional houses is Neptune, in retrograde motion in your career sector and for the planet of dreams, this is a week of two halves. During the first half of the week Neptune, a planet that deals more in dreams than reality, will want to stay well clear of a lunar eclipse that will be delivering reality checks in the first three days of the week. Fortunately, none of those reality checks are on the professional front, so Neptune can afford to put his head in the sand. The week changes dramatically for Neptune on Thursday when, moving into her final 10 days in your income sector, Venus moves into a friendly aspect. Just a day later Mercury will retrograde back into your income sector and by the weekend the doors will be open to the past, second chances and untapped professional and income potential.
This professional year has hit a slow patch but for all the right reasons. When you have an outer planet in your career sector this means that things are literally active for years. While Neptune returned in 2012 and won’t leave until 2026, the reality is that there has been continuous planetary activity in your career sector since 2003. That is a long time to remain in the fast lane all year and the reality is you can’t. Since returning seven years ago Neptune has spent from June to November in retrograde motion and the planet of dreams has just embarked on his most exciting retrograde phase yet. When Neptune returned in 2012 it was to find that Chiron, the planet of healing was already here and as he has also spent from June to November in retrograde motion, this included a need to confront old professional ghosts or demons. Chiron finally left in February and this is Neptune’s first solo retrograde phase, one where is able to make it all about revisiting old professional dreams. Neptune received a lot of support from Mars and Mercury in your income sector last month and that support will continue from the Sun and Venus there, this month. This is Neptune’s first full month in retrograde motion and with no other activity here or on the job front, this is a chance to pull back. The Moon’s return to your career sector from 20th July to 22nd July will be a chance to check in. The Moon returned just hours after Neptune turned retrograde last month, so its return four weeks later will be a chance to gauge the journey since then. In the meantime, the Moon’s visit to your work sector from 10th July to 13th July will do more than give you an intuitive read on work and job matters. Returning a week after a total solar eclipse in your income sector and moving into a positive aspect with forces there and with Neptune, this will bring forces across the income, work and career fronts together.
