Starting the week with the Moon in your career sector is always an advantage, allowing you to begin with your professional instincts and imagination fuelled from the get go. However, a week after Mercury’s return and with the Moon having come full circle from last month’s New Moon, this is a chance to regroup and even push the ‘reset’ button. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since last month’s New Moon and with Mercury in retrograde motion at the time, instead of returning to tie up loose ends the Moon has returned for a replay. The Sun only left your career sector last Friday, leaving you with a clear sense of where things stand and of what you have to work with. The Moon will be gone by Tuesday but Mercury is here for another three weeks, giving you time to define your professional game plan and resolutions for the coming year.
This is always going to be an important point in any professional year, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of March in your career sector and with the solar spotlight on your career and professional situation, matters and options. While the other planets in the solar system have a less strict timetable, the Sun will always arrive and leave at the same time, making this something that you are naturally geared towards. This is simply the time of year when the focus is on career and professional matters. This year the Sun is also the epicentre of a fairly strung out period of planetary activity that began with Venus’ return in January and won’t end until Mars leaves at the end of June. Not all the planets will be here at the same time and Mars, who doesn’t even return until May will never be here at the same time as Venus, Mercury or the Sun. However, they don’t need to be here at the same time because as each planet moves through they will connect with Neptune, who is here from 2012 to 2026. This allows each planet to play there part like a production line, beginning with Venus’ return in January to fuel your professional confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. Mercury returned during Venus’ final days here but she was long gone by the time the Sun returned, but both he and Neptune were holding onto her legacy. The month begins with Mercury in retrograde motion and while he will retrograde back out by 5th March he will return on 16th March, starting over from the beginning again in what will be a complete do over. While the Sun will leave on 20th March, knowing that Mercury will stay on and that Mars won’t return until mid May he will be happy to leave things open ended and still playing out. Meanwhile, with no planetary activity on the job front, the Moon’s visit to your work sector from 12th March to 14th March will be a valuable chance to get an intuitive read on work and job matters.
