With the Sun and Mercury leaving your career sector on Tuesday, there is a need to have your professional hat on from the get go. However, after both were confronted by a Full Moon over the weekend that put the focus on home and family matters, there have been some timely work/life balance reminders. This is a Full Moon that falls at some point during the Sun’s month long visit to your career sector and a clash between your home and professional lives is part of the process. The difference this time is that this was a powerful Full Moon and as the first in your home and family sector since lucky Jupiter left, has unleashed a lot of opportunities and reminders on the home front. Yet on the other side, both sides benefit and with Venus only in her first full week in your career sector and Saturn and Pluto both in retrograde motion in your work sector, the right work/life balance will benefit you professionally as well.
Despite the fact that this is a professionally charged month, this is being balanced by permission to pull back and by a sense of adventure that is making sure life doesn’t become all work and no play. While Mercury will not only leave an adventurous part of your chart on 7th May and Venus on 15th May but will then join the Sun in your career sector, they will leave behind something that has taken on a life of its own. Throughout their time here Venus and Mercury have enjoyed the support of lucky Jupiter, in his first full month in retrograde motion in a playful part of your chart. Yet a strong tie between playful and adventurous forces will continue, with a sense of nostalgia thrown in for good measure. Yet despite the fact that the Sun is in your career sector until 21st May, with Saturn and Pluto in their first full month in retrograde motion in your work sector, there is no longer a call to push yourself. With both spending the middle months of 2019 in retrograde motion and Uranus now in your career sector until 2026, any urgency has gone from your professional year. There is no reason why you can’t have it all. Another reason to pace yourself will become evident in the second half of the month, with Mars’ return to a nostalgic part of your chart on 16th May. This is the start of the nearly seven week wind down of your current Mars cycle, which began in 2017. Until returning to Leo on 2nd July Mars, the planet that gives us our drive and determination will offer a chance to recharge your batteries. It is later in the month that a general slowing down of urgency, both personally and professionally, will bring a chance to make the most of a rise in focus on your social life and matters. With a mix of playful, adventurous and nostalgic forces in play all month, all round life is urging you to slow down.
