It is not that the Moon will divide the majority of its time this week between focusing on matters of the heart, work and job matters and your relationships and more that this will amplify what is already the main areas of focus. The Moon not only joins Mars in a playful part of your chart on Monday but during the Sun’s final 24 hours in your busy work sector. If that means having to juggle to find the right balance between work and play then this is not just an issue for Monday. For while the Sun will leave your work sector on Tuesday this will still leave four planets here, three of which are some of the most powerful planets in the solar system. Even when the Moon leaves a playful part of your chart and returns to your work sector on Wednesday Mars will stay on, continuing the balancing act between work and play. Meanwhile, the Sun, Moon and Mercury will all meet up in your relationship sector over the weekend, to create the first New Moon of 2020.
Because the Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of every year in your work sector, it is a given that January will be a busy month. Whether at work or with the many other things that keep you busy and occupy your time, this is an area of your chart that will always find something for idle hands to do. What is not the norm is to begin the year with six planets in your work sector and especially when half of them are not only the most powerful planets in the solar system but will be here for most if not all of 2020. This should and does get the year off to a busy start but at the same time can ease some of the urgency. Yes, you have Mercury leaving your work sector on 17th January and the Sun on 21st January, the point when the busy start each year gets off to will often end, but with so many planets remaining you are running a marathon and not a sprint this year. This makes it easier to pace yourself. There are also some guardrails in place to ensure life doesn’t become all work and no play and with Uranus turning direct in your career sector on 11th January it is just as well. At first it will be hard to see those guardrails, mainly because they aren’t there yet. There are actually two guardrails and they will work in tandem. The first is Mars’ return to a playful part of your chart on 3rd January, where he will spend nearly seven weeks. This is long enough to set some work/life balance habits that you can maintain for the rest of the year. In the meantime, while the lunar nodes are working to maintain a balance between knowing when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off, it is a lunar eclipse on 10th/11th January that will put this to the test. This is just as Saturn and Pluto are moving into a rare alignment in your work sector and right in the heart of the busiest point of this busy month. You can have it all but only with the right balance, especially as this is also an important month on the relationship front.
