Even though you begin the week with just one less planet in your work sector than you began last week with, there is a lot less intensity. Last week not only began with five of the six planets here aligned but in the heart of an alignment between Saturn and Pluto that had been two years in the making. With Uranus having just turned direct in your career sector over the weekend, last week began under some of the most intense conditions of 2020. While the only change since then was Mercury’s departure late last week, with the planets no longer aligned there is space between them and you are now able to see the wood for the trees. Any remaining intensity will drop further when the Sun leaves on Tuesday, leaving Ceres as the only faster planet still here. Until she leaves 10 days later, this will give you a chance to look at your needs and priorities, especially when it comes to job satisfaction and a sense of purpose before the real journey begins.
Because the Sun has always and will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of every year in your work sector, you are used to any year getting off to a busy start, only to dial back by the end of January. More momentum is often created in December and January on the job front than during the rest of the year combined, so while you might get to take time out over the holiday period it will be straight back into work mode again. This is what a typical year looks like but 2020 is anything but a typical year, with all the energy that is normally created in December and January set to remain in play all year, with no let up. The very fact that you begin the month with 12 planets in your work sector suggests something extraordinary is at play, with maths alone telling you that this is putting over half the planets in the solar system here. However, it is not just the number of planets but the importance and power of those planets, as well as the cross section. On the one hand, you have the Sun and Mercury focused on the very ordinary and down to earth work and job matters that they focus on at this time every year. Yet on the other hand, for the first time in our lifetime you have Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn together here at the same time, creating a whole new sense of what’s possible. Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion, Pluto is the planet of change and revolution and Saturn is the planet that can give you the power to move mountains if you have to and they have come together to make 2020 a massive year for job growth, expansion, change and for taking your power back. With Pluto here all year and Saturn and Jupiter both here until December, their first full month together is a taste of things to come. Because you have had Pluto here since 2008 and Saturn since 2017, this is the culmination of everything you have been working towards, with their alignment on 12th/13th January set to be a major turning point. Until leaving on 17th January, Mercury will help you keep your head in the game and your feet on the ground, while the Sun will keep the solar spotlight on your work situation, job matters and options until leaving on 21st January.
