There is a good chance that even if you got to take time out over the holiday period, the busy pace of the final six weeks of last year didn’t abate. The final weeks of any professional year are usually slow and in fact slower than normal for you. You have had Chiron in your work sector since 2010 and Neptune since 2012, but by December they are either in their final weeks in retrograde or early weeks in direct motion. Either way, because a planet must come to a standstill in order to turn direct or retrograde, both spend December at a standstill. As the Sun doesn’t return to your work sector until February, January is usually when things start to move, but still at a slow pace. Yet while Neptune did turn direct in late November and Chiron in December, this did nothing to slow things down. Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos spent the last six weeks of 2018 in your work sector and this meant there was no slowing down. Mars will leave on New Year’s Day, allowing you to begin the year with your work passions, fighting and competitive spirit fuelled and a huge amount of momentum from the get go. However, there will also finally be a chance to pull back. For the first time in 17 years, you begin the year with the North Node in your career sector and this will continue to provide a sense of professional direction and to attract huge opportunities for the whole of 2019. It was a Full Moon just before Christmas that has created enough momentum to drive the early months of 2019. Along with the momentum Mars has created on the job front, January is a month when you can almost sit back and ride the waves already created.
