While the stars pull a ‘bait and switch’ on you in the early days of the month, rather than an effort to defraud you, this brings nothing but good news. However, it does mean that the year that was being advertised is not the year you will find as you finally move into 2019. What is advertised, is a fun, playful and adventurous year and nothing to suggest that this wouldn’t continue. At the same time, January is always an important month for friendship and social matters and that will continue. Mars spent the final six weeks of 2018 in Pisces, where he has been firing up your passions and fighting spirit. Throughout that time Mars has been at a friendly aspect to the North Node in a playful part of your chart and since early last month, with Venus in an adventurous part of your chart. With no planetary activity in your work sector, both planets in your income sector in retrograde motion and Jupiter in your career sector but here for the long haul, there is nothing to suggest last month’s conditions wouldn’t continue. Especially as a playful Full Moon just before Christmas gave things a boost. However, things start to change in the early hours of the month. It begins with Mars’ return to your income sector on New Year’s Day and continues with Venus’ return to your career sector a week later. A total lunar eclipse in your work sector will see an explosion of potential across the income, work and career fronts. What makes this so game changing, is that on all three fronts this will tap into potential that has literally been building for years. Fortunately, the North Node will remain in a playful part of your chart all year, policing a balance between work and play.
