As Uranus moves into his second week in direct motion in your work sector there is unlikely to be any sign of real movement and if anything, you might begin the week feeling unmotivated. As for signs of movement, you wouldn’t expect anything yet. On Monday Uranus has only been in direct motion for nine days and with the Moon yet to make its first visit since the lights turned green, there has been nothing to artificially speed things up. I say artificially because Uranus is still at a standstill and it is not until Venus returns in March that the pace will pick up on the job front. This makes a reminder by the Moon over the weekend to pace yourself both redundant and timely, because the pace won’t always be this slow. As the Moon’s first visit to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart for the year wraps up this will relieve any pressure but not before delivering a reminder when it comes to knowing when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off.
While the month and therefore the year begins with the only planet in either of your two professional houses still in retrograde motion, there should be a lot of job confidence from the get go. This is mainly because of the support that Uranus, in his final days in retrograde motion in your work sector is getting from a massive six planet line up of planets in your income sector. Uranus has been in retrograde motion in your work sector since August and while this hasn’t always been easy, with some clashes with Mars in particular, things took a turn for the better last month. Despite the fact that from the get go, when Uranus returned to your work sector in March he had the backing of Saturn and Pluto in your income sector there was no direct contact. It wasn’t until Venus and Jupiter returned to your income sector and into a friendly aspect to Uranus that things started to turn around. Since then every planet returning to your income sector has moved into the same friendly aspect, including the Sun and Mercury later last month. In retrograde motion until 11th January, Uranus is barely moving and will have to come to a complete standstill in order to turn direct. So while there might be a lot of job confidence this month there might not be too much movement, though things will get the green light from 11th January. The Moon will make its first visit to your work sector for the year from 5th January to 7th January. As well as giving you an intuitive read on work and job matters and delivering valuable clues, hunches and insights, this last visit while Uranus is in retrograde motion will also come with 20/20 hindsight. This is a visit that is likely to see the past, present and future merge, with the Moon giving you a chance to look back, look to the future and use that information now. Meanwhile, with no planetary activity in your career sector, the Moon’s first visit for the year will be a valuable chance to check in. The Moon will move through from 14th January to 16th January, fuelling your professional instincts and imagination and giving you an intuitive read on career matters. In both instances, the Moon can act as a trigger.
