There is a chance that you could still be reeling from the weekend’s Full Moon in Scorpio or simply adjusting to the surge in power and shift in focus this has created. This was the Full Moon that marks the halfway point in each solar year and as it always falls while the Sun is in your relationship sector, is the ‘what about me’ Full Moon. At a point in the year when the focus is on your relationships and there is rarely any planetary activity in Scorpio, the Full Moon demands that your voice is heard. If this created any personal and/or relationship tension, you not only have Mercury, the planet of communication in your relationship sector until Tuesday, but the Moon returning to your communication sector to take over from where he leaves off. This creates an opportunity for a breakthrough. Yet this has unleashed a mix of passionate, playful and adventurous forces that don’t come with an ‘off’ switch.
The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars have been playing catch up this year, but the gap between them is closing. By the time the Sun returned to your relationship sector last month Mars had left three weeks earlier. Yet when the Sun leaves and returns to your financial sector on 21st May, it will be to find that Mars has left just four days earlier, 16th May. At the same time, while Mercury returned to your work sector during the Sun’s final days last month Venus didn’t return until after he left. Yet Venus’ return to your relationship sector on 15th May will see her catch up. This is how the planets are spread out across the sky, with Mars still out in front, followed by the Sun and with Venus and Mercury closing in fast, with the gap between all four closing. This means that it is Mars returning to an area of your chart first charging things up and then leaving, just before the other planets arrive. Mercury, in your work sector until 7th May and Venus until 15th May, are not only tying up loose ends from the Sun’s time here but from when Mars spent the first six weeks of the year here. This makes a difference to how Mars plays things. Mars will leave your financial sector on 16th May, but with the Sun and Mercury returning on 21st May, they can continue what he started. This will eventually happen for Mars new quest that begins with his return to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery on 16th May. Mars knows that if he can fuel a passion for adventure, the Sun, Mercury and Venus will eventually return to continue what he started. This adventurous wave is set to sweep through the middle months of the year, with Mars returning just seven weeks before a total solar eclipse here. In the meantime, a Full Moon in Scorpio on 19th May brings you to the halfway point in your solar year and with it a chance to check in. With Venus in her early and the Sun and Mercury in their final days in your relationship sector, this can also put a balance between your personal and relationship needs to the test.
