‘Houston, we have a problem’. Strictly speaking, this is less a problem and more a dilemma in search of a solution that at the end of the day is all about balance. The ‘problem’ is that you begin the week with Mars and Pluto, the planets of war and revolution aligned in a playful part of your chart, just as Venus moves into her last full week in an adventurous part. That doesn’t sound like a problem until you factor in Saturn’s return to your work sector over the weekend. Saturn’s return not only brings a need for a more serious approach to work and job matters but a real chance to take your power back, but is also the start of an explosion of potential across the income, work and career fronts that will dominate the middle months of the year. At the same time, you also start the week with the Moon and Mercury wanting more attention for your relationships. It is all about balance and in particular, a balance between work and play.
While you don’t know it yet, a battle between work and play is forming and it is set to dominate the rest of the year. You have already had experience of this during January and February but it appears that this is now behind you, with the Sun’s departure from your work sector last month having seen things dial back. At the start of the month, the Sun has only been gone from your work sector for 10 days, though with the dwarf planet Ceres maintaining some focus. With the Sun now in your relationship sector and Mars firing up the planets in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart, too much focus on work and job matters is slipping off your radar. Because the last two months have seen the Sun, Mercury and Venus all move through your work sector at the same time that there was a powerful coming together of planets in a playful part of your chart, a balance between work and play had to be taken seriously. As they have since moved on, you have been able to let your guard down or at least that is how it might feel. However, a second wave of activity on the job front is coming and it is not only more powerful than the first it will have implications for the rest of this year and for years to come. I am not talking about the focus that is put on work and job matters each January and February but something completely different. There are signs of this in the first half of the month, when from 5th March to 16th March Mercury will slip back into your work sector for a short double dip visit. However, the game changer is Saturn’s return on 22nd March, followed by Mars’ return on 31st March. With Venus beginning a four month visit to your career sector early next month, this is the start of a major awakening across the income, work and career fronts. Yet with Jupiter and Pluto staying on in a playful part of your chart all month and for the rest of the year and Venus returning to an adventurous part of your chart on 5th March, the battle lines between work and play are being redrawn.
