The Sun’s departure from your work sector on Wednesday makes this a week of two halves. Until leaving, the Sun’s final days are all about keeping your eyes open and head out of the sand, looking at work and job matters objectively and realistically but in a way that is more about observing. This has a different feel to it than in most years because this is not the end of all planetary activity on the job front and in fact far from it. With Saturn returning next month for the first time in three decades, Mars just days later for the first time since 2018 and even Mercury retrograding back in for a double dip visit, in terms of exploring this year’s job potential you haven’t even begun to get started. Rather than tying up loose ends, the Sun’s final days are more about having an authentic starting point. The Sun’s departure will allow the dwarf planet Ceres to be heard and ahead of next month’s developments, this means a chance to focus more on job satisfaction and a sense of purpose.
There is a mix of the ordinary and the extraordinary in play on the job front this month, except for now all that you can see is the ordinary. The ordinary is that the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of February in your work sector, with the solar spotlight on your work situation, job matters and options. With Venus already been and gone, Mercury leaving on 4th February and the Sun on 19th February, three weeks into the month there will be no more planetary activity here. Normally this would mean that this was the end of all planetary activity on the job front for the year. This is where the extraordinary comes in and because this is also the unseen, this will require some blind faith or at least trust in what your gut is telling you. The Moon will move through your work sector from 21st February to 23rd February, returning two days after the Sun leaves to supposedly tie up loose ends. It is then, with your intuition, instincts and imagination fuelled and with an intuitive read on work and job matters that your gut will be telling you that rather than work and job matters having run their course, the real opportunities are still in ahead of you. This is when blind faith will be required, for instead of tying up loose ends the Moon will be preparing you for the next phase. The next phase will begin in the early days of March when a month after leaving a retrograde turn will see Mercury retrograde back into your work sector for a double dip visit. It is just days later that Saturn will return for the first time in three decades and Mars for the first time in two years. You will end February with no planetary activity in your work sector and with a very ordinary annual update having just finished. Yet you will end March with Saturn and Mars here and some of the most powerful forces in play on the job front in decades. With exciting new career developments beginning in early April, the events this month are just a small taste of what lies ahead.
