As much as possible, ease slowly back into things this year, for this is what the professional gods are doing. Last year was busy, so busy that chances are, it was only when you finally got to step back over the holiday period that you realised how exhausted you were. Hopefully, you have listened to your body and taken time out. Even the Moon’s return to your work sector from 7th January to 10th January will bring a message to hold back. This is partly because you do need to recharge your batteries, but also because there is a huge amount that is still playing out. The reason why last year was so busy can be summed up in one word, Mars. Mars returned to your work sector in May, for what should have been a six week visit. Mars only returns every other year and these are always the busiest weeks in a two year period. However, Mars didn’t leave until November, leaving exactly six months after arriving. This was a massive amount of time to remain in Mars’ manic environment, something that chances are, became your ‘normal’. It was only until Mars finally left and you got to take time out over the holiday period, that you were able to appreciate the toll this has taken. Yet a slow start to the year is not just a chance to recharge your batteries, because after six months Mars invested a huge amount that is still running its course. With the Sun returning on 20th January to begin a new chapter and Mercury on 24th January to help crank things up again, you need a firebreak. It could be that you are literally still catching up from work you weren’t able to finish in 2018, due to the sheer volume or that things started, are still running their course and need to play out. Either way, there is a need to be ready to embrace the new opportunities this year holds when the Sun returns on 20th January.
