Starting the week with the Moon in your career sector is always an advantage. Beginning the week with your professional instincts and imagination fuelled can get the working week off on the right foot from the start, giving you an advantage you will retain for the rest of the week. However, it is the timing that makes this ordinary monthly visit extraordinary. Before leaving on Tuesday, the Moon will form a friendly aspect to the Sun and Mercury in your work sector and to Jupiter and Neptune in your income sector, creating positive conditions across the income, work and career fronts from the start. However, that is not what makes the timing so auspicious. With the Sun leaving your work sector on Friday, Mercury next week and Jupiter leaving your income sector a day earlier, it comes just as they are working to make their final days count. This is something that could influence the second half of this professional year.
Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in your work sector, the solar spotlight is always on your work situation and job matters at this time of year. The difference this year is that by the time you move into the new month so much water has already passed under the bridge that this is less about opening things up and more about tying up loose ends or at least that will be the case by the end of the month. When the Sun returned to your work sector last month it was to find Venus here but in her final days and Mars having left nine days earlier. Last year Venus didn’t return until August and Mars didn’t return at all so this has given you a huge head start. With Venus and Mars both gone but Mercury not returning to begin the job of tying up loose ends until 12th July, the Sun will keep the solar spotlight on work and job matters but with a need to keep your mind and your options open. This is the case even when the Moon moves through from 9th July to 11th July, creating a New Moon on 10th July that can bring an opportunity for new beginnings and create a lot of forward momentum. Mercury will return a day after the Moon leaves, with the intellectually savvy edge needed to get your head in the game and start tying up loose ends. The Sun will keep the solar spotlight on your work situation, job matters and options until leaving on 23rd July and while Mercury will stay on for another five days, his departure on 28th July will end all planetary activity on the job front for the year. This doesn’t mean that work and job matters will drop off and more that there will be no additional input from the planets. Venus and Mars’ job was to get things moving, the Sun’s job is to throw as much light on things as possible and Mercury’s job is to help you make the choices, decisions and plans that will keep things on track after he’s gone.
