While the Moon is just leaving Capricorn as you move into the new week, having spent the weekend here this will allow you to begin the week with your intuition, instincts and imagination engaged. This was the Moon’s first visit since Pluto’s retrograde turn in your sign last week, with a chance to check in and especially with the better view that you now have of the rear view mirror. The Moon has also given the planets in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart a boost, including Mercury who will leave on Tuesday and Venus, the planet of love over the weekend. By the time Mercury returns to your work sector on Tuesday, taking over from where Mars left off 11 days earlier, the Moon will be in your income sector. This will ensure your nose for money is sharp as Mercury begins a new wave of activity on the job front but also in time to make the most of Jupiter’s last full week in your income sector. On Wednesday the Moon will return to your communication sector, for the first time since Mars’ return to your relationship sector.
Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of May in a playful part of your chart but end the month in your busy work sector and because Venus and Mercury will always blur the lines between the two, this is a month when a balance between work and play will also come under the spotlight. The Sun is the only body in the solar system that runs to a tight schedule, with his departure from a playful part of your chart and return to your work sector on 21st May set in stone each year. However, while Venus and Mercury travel with the Sun they don’t adhere to the same tight schedule and can return or leave ahead or behind. This means that there is always going to be a crossover and this year that crossover is evident from the start and will only get stronger. While the month begins with the Sun, Venus and Mercury all in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart as Mars only left your busy work sector a week earlier, you have already had to juggle a balance between work and play. Even more so when Mercury leaves and returns to your work sector on 4th May, taking over from where Mars left off just 11 days earlier. Normally here for 14 to 15 days, a retrograde turn on 30th May will keep Mercury here until July while Venus will spend just 24 days fuelling your job confidence, attracting opportunities and steering things in a lucrative direction. Venus and Mercury will return to your work sector in time to make the most of lucky Jupiter’s final days in your income sector before leaving on 14th May. Jupiter will be gone by the time the Sun returns on 21st May but two days ahead of Saturn’s retrograde turn in your income sector on 23rd May, there will be a strong partnership between income and job matters this year. In the meantime, Jupiter will make a timely return to your communication sector on 14th May, with his first visit in over a decade managing to begin right in the middle of Mars’ first, last and only full month in your relationship sector in two years.
