Held back by a retrograde phase, Mars should have returned to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, to begin the six week wind down to your current Mars cycle, five months ago but only returned last week. Had Mars returned on time he would not only have returned to Gemini but would have been and gone and your new Mars cycle would have launched during one of the most challenging years on record. Mars couldn’t offer a do over but he could offer the next best thing, which was to push the pause button and delay his return. While Mars won’t return to Gemini until early March, his first full week in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart allows you to finally get on with the job of bringing this current Mars cycle home. This is a time of completion, closure and the closer you get to his return to your sign, a chance to recharge your batteries. At the same time, a growing mix of wanderlust, curiosity and adventure is taking away a lot of last year’s urgency.
By virtue of Saturn and Jupiter’s move and grand conjunction just before Christmas, we have all experienced the seismic shift that will make 2021 a very different year to 2020 while continuing to enjoy the benefits. However, you are one of the signs that will benefit the most and not just because Saturn and Jupiter have returned to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery. At the very least this is going to create an expansive year, with a chance to expand the boundaries of your life and in every way possible. The world’s borders might be closed but this is a chance to create richer experiences from whatever you have to work with. With Saturn here until 2023 and Jupiter spending the first and the last five months of 2021 here, this is something that will grow and expand over the coming months and years. They will be joined by Mercury on 9th January and by the Sun on 20th January, providing the support to start fully embracing this new era. Until then, the Sun and Mercury are tying up loose ends after Saturn and Jupiter left your financial sector last month. This brought a three year financial boot camp to a close while leaving you with Jupiter’s sense of what’s possible and Saturn’s determination to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes. However, with Saturn and Jupiter gone this is no longer about the big picture with the Sun, Mercury and Venus, when she returns on 9th January more focused on mundane money matters. Meanwhile, Venus will start the month in your relationship sector and with Mars in your friendship sector until 7th January this gets the month off to a good start when it comes to friendship and relationship building. Both will leave resources behind to continue what they began and that includes on the communication front, especially in the early and final days of the month.
