The pace of life is set to increase fairly dramatically this week and especially on the job front and professionally. However, this includes anything that keeps you busy or occupies your time and also when it comes to your personal or professional goals and ambitions. The same energy that will be opening new doors and creating new momentum on the job front will also be finding other ways to keep you busy. At the same time, the same energy that is firing things up on the career front will also see your competitive spirit looking for any outlet. It is a combination of Mars’ return to your career sector, the most professionally charged and competitive part of your chart last Thursday and Venus’ return to your busy work sector over the weekend but also the conditions this week. Both were held back by retrograde phases so never made it back in 2020 so are ready to make up for lost time. However, a New Moon and Uranus’ direct turn will give this even more fuel.
While Saturn and Jupiter left your work sector just before Christmas and this has taken a lot of the pressure away, the benefits not only remain but will be on full display this month. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of the year in your work sector but having returned just a day after Jupiter and four days after Saturn left, for the first time since 2017 the hard taskmaster of the cosmos is gone. Because the Sun and Mercury, who returned on the same day returned after Jupiter and Saturn left they were able to create a separate chapter. This allows you to benefit from what has been invested or the hard work from the last three years while having a chance to push the ‘reset’ button and make a fresh start. Mercury will leave on 9th January and the Sun on 20th January but Venus’ return on 9th January means you can continue to exploit the potential here. With Mars returning to your career sector on 7th January, rather than go off the boil, the potential on the job and career fronts will increase this month, but in a much easier and more manageable way. In the meantime, as the Sun and Mercury leave they will return to your relationship sector, where the real action is this month. The Sun will always return to your relationship sector at the same time every year and Mercury, the planet of communication is never too far away. However, returning to find Jupiter and Saturn here is a whole new experience, together in your relationship sector at the same time for the first time in six decades. With Saturn here until 2023 and Jupiter spending the first and the last five months of 2021 here, this is the start of a major new chapter. Maybe that is why Mercury is reluctant to leave, for while he will return on 9th January to begin what should be a two week mission to get the communication lines open a retrograde turn on 31st January will keep him here until March.
