If there is any work tension or job pressure at the start of the week you don’t need to fully embrace this but you don’t want to ignore it either. The biggest danger isn’t that this will linger and more how easy this would be to dismiss at the time and then forget about once it is over and especially as it will ease fairly dramatically on Wednesday. Falling in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, this is the Full Moon that will always fall at some point during the Sun’s month long visit to your busy work sector and is a test for how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off. This was always going to be the only test this month and with income, work and career potential continuing to unfold for months, the early days of the new month are the perfect time to put this to the test. The reason why this will be easy to forget is because of the fast turnaround. It begins with the Moon’s departure on Wednesday and Mercury’s return to your work sector just minutes later, with the intellectually savvy edge that can help you work smarter.
What you can expect this month can be summed up in a few key phrases, all of them cause for excitement. They are a drop in pressure, an increase in variety and the perfect conditions to ensure a balanced month. The latter is especially so when it comes to a balance between work and play, with the bar rising on both fronts in equal measure. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of August in your work sector but for the first time in 17 years, you have the South Node in your income sector, while Mars is in the early months of his longest visit to your income sector in 32 years. While the Sun will leave your work sector on 23rd August and Mercury is only here from 5th August to 20th August, held back by a retrograde phase Venus won’t return until early next month, continuing on from where they left off. So while August has all the ingredients for an exciting month across the income, work and career fronts, September is looking even better. However, while it is Venus that will ensure this month’s potential across the income, work and career fronts continues into next month, she is working this month to ensure life doesn’t become all work and no play. Venus is still in your financial sector at the start of the month, with her four month visit finally ending on 8th August, though not before working to leave you with your financial confidence fuelled and your financial wish list updated. It is then that Venus will return to an adventurous part of your chart, just three days after Mercury ends his two month visit in order to join the Sun in your work sector on 5th August. Venus will spend the rest of the month here and having waited so long to get here, she will not be sidelined. Meanwhile, Mercury’s return to your relationship sector on 20th August and the Sun’s on 23rd August will see the month end with your relationships getting their first real attention this year.
