It is less a case of the stars sending mixed messages this week and more a case of life’s options opening up, sending a clear message that life can’t be all work and no play. The week not only begins with the Moon in an adventurous part of your chart but making its only visit while Venus is here, just as Mars is spending his first full week in retrograde motion in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart. This will keep Mars here for the rest of the year, making this more than just a case of Mondayitis. Yet Monday is not only Jupiter’s first full day in direct motion in your income sector but the Sun’s last full week in your career sector, with a New Moon there on Thursday giving income, work and career matters the green light. This is a good week on both sides of life’s fence and this is a taste of what you can expect from the coming months. War has been declared on a life that is all work and no play.
If you have one intention moving into September it needs to be the intention to not just respect a balance between work and play but commit to it. There is less a battle to find and maintain a balance between work and play this month for if there was it has already been waged and declared a draw and more your reality. You not only can have it all you do have it all and in spades. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of September in your career sector and while this is always a busy time of year and a good time for career and professional matters, this year there are powerful planets in play on the job and income fronts as well. When Mercury returned to your career sector on 20th August and the Sun three days later, for the third time in as many years it was to find Uranus in your work and Saturn in your income sector. This year you also have lucky Jupiter, making his first visit to your income sector in 12 years and while all are in retrograde motion at the start of the month, things will start waking up on the income front from 13th September. Uranus is in his first full month in retrograde motion in your work sector so will remain in retrograde motion for the rest of the year but Jupiter will turn direct in your income sector on 13th September and Saturn on 29th September. Before Mercury leaves your work sector on 6th September and the Sun on 23rd September they will move into a friendly aspect to all those planets, as will Venus when she returns early next month. This is creating an auspicious month across the income, work and career fronts. However, with Mars not only still in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart but a retrograde turn on 10th September keeping him here for the rest of the year, there was little chance of life becoming all work and no play. Even the slightest chance will be dashed when Venus not only returns to an adventurous part of your chart on 6th September but to spend the rest of the month here.
