When the South Node returned to Sagittarius and the North Node to your relationship sector last month, as well as creating opportunities on both fronts they also began the 20 month policing of your personal and relationship needs. This will be in full force this week, when the Moon not only returns to Sagittarius on Friday but less than 24 hours later will become a lunar eclipse. This is the first of three eclipses in the space of just one month but the only one that will push this new agenda to the test. While a lunar eclipse in Sagittarius, the first in seven years is personally empowering and could unlock all sorts of untapped personal potential, the Moon will clash with the Sun, Venus and the North Node in your relationship sector. This towards the end of what is going to be an important week across the communication, friendship and relationship building fronts, helping you to use this clash to create something more authentic and balanced.
Of all the developments this month the one with the biggest personal impact could be an ordinary Full Moon that this time comes with extraordinary possibilities. This ordinary Full Moon falls in Sagittarius on 6th June and is always an important event for you. Falling at the halfway point in your solar year, halfway between your last birthday month and the next, this is the furthest point in any year from planetary activity in your sign. This is a chance to reclaim your voice and also push the ‘reset’ button, as you move into the second half of this current solar year. What makes a Full Moon that falls at around this time every year different is not just that this is a lunar eclipse but why it is. It was the South Node’s return to Sagittarius last month that is responsible for turning an ordinary Full Moon into a lunar eclipse, giving it a lot more potency. The lunar nodes, which includes the South Node here in Sagittarius and its partner the North Node which returned to your relationship sector at the same time aren’t physical objects. Instead, these are the points where the Earth’s orbit around the Sun is intersected by the Moon’s orbit around the Earth but they have a lot of gravitational pull and in the South Node’s case, to the past and all its untapped potential. As Jupiter only wrapped up a 13 month visit to Sagittarius in December, there is a huge amount of untapped potential for this eclipse to reach into the past and grab. This makes this a major opportunity to push the ‘reset’ button but in a month where there is a lot of focus on your relationships to find your own voice. Eclipses always happen in pairs but the solar eclipse on 21st June falls in your financial sector, which is a leftover from when the North Node left there last month. While this creates an opportunity for new financial beginnings this could come with second chances or an opportunity for a do over. Meanwhile, you might have to wait four weeks for one of this month’s most exciting events it will be worth the wait, with Mars not only returning to a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart on 28th June but spending the rest of the year here.
