By the time the Moon returns to your career sector on Friday the Sun has been gone from your work sector for six days and Jupiter has been in retrograde motion in your income sector for two weeks. As well as fuelling your professional instincts and imagination as it moves through, it is over the weekend that the Moon will form a friendly aspect to the planets that are not only still in your work and income sectors but will be for the rest of the year. Because the Moon returns on Friday, it is over the weekend that you will have a chance to pull back and review your options and get your bearings across the income, work and career fronts. While there is no planetary activity on the career front until the second half of the year when the planets arrive they will encounter the same forces the Moon will encounter over the weekend, giving you a sense of what you can expect from the rest of this professional year.
It is a given that the focus will be on work and job matters at this time of year, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of May in your work sector. Because the Sun returns at this time every year, always has and always will, you are automatically geared towards having the solar spotlight on your work situation and job matters in May. This year there are two factors that set this year’s focus apart from what is typical at this time of year. The first is that Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected and the planet charged with keeping things on an authentic path, not only returned last March but is here until 2026. This means that while the Sun, Venus and Mercury will still make April and May the most important months of any year on the job front, Uranus will keep the momentum going all year. The second factor is that Venus has already been and gone, with her departure early last month giving you 16 days for her desires and expectations to settle before the Sun returned with his reality checks. Instead of immediately running them through a reality filter, this gave them a chance to become entrenched, making this part of your blueprint for what you can expect on the job front over the coming year. Mercury, who returned late last month is only spending 14 days here this year and will leave on 12th May. This makes the first 12 days of the month important for working smarter and for having your head in the game, ideas on the table and the communication lines open. By 21st May the Sun will be gone and Uranus will once more be on his own, but this time armed with all the information and insight gained over recent months and able to keep the momentum going. The Moon’s return from 20th May to 23rd May will ensure that you have an intuitive read on work and job matters as the Sun leaves while giving you a chance to tie up loose ends while everything is still fresh. Meanwhile, with no planetary activity on the career front, the Moon will bring a chance to check in there from 2nd May to 4th May and again from 29th May.
