Even though your birthday month and new solar year is still over a month away, the first new planetary activity in Scorpio will be here by the end of the week. While only an asteroid, Juno is the queen of commitment and returning on Sunday, a week ahead of Mercury’s return at the end of next week, is a chance to start updating your resolutions. This will begin before the month long wind down of your current solar year even begins next week but will continue throughout that wind down, through your birthday month and into the closing weeks of 2020. That Mercury will return next week will bring this smart and intellectually savvy planet well ahead of schedule, with a retrograde turn next in October giving you months to work in your game plan and resolutions for the final month of 2020. In the meantime, while the week gets off to a stunning start across the income, work and career fronts, in his first full week in retrograde motion in your work sector Mars is urging you to pull back and pace yourself.
Because at some point during at least part of the month there will be cosmic activity in all 12 areas of your chart, something that rarely happens, there really is a bit of everything this month. You will even get a jump on your birthday month and new solar year, which doesn’t begin until later next month. This is thanks to the asteroid Juno’s return to Scorpio on 20th September followed by Mercury’s return on 27th September. This is early to have Mercury return to your sign and in fact, so early that he will be forced to turn retrograde next month in order to let the Sun catch up. With Mercury and Juno both in Scorpio until November, this is giving you a significant jump on your new solar year before it begins. The Sun won’t even return to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart to begin the wind down of your old solar year until 23rd September, spending his time until then in your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of September here but for the third time in as many years, he and Mercury returned last month to find Uranus in your relationship sector and Saturn still in your communication sector and for the first time in 12 years, Jupiter there as well. Uranus is in his first full month in retrograde motion but Jupiter turns direct in your communication sector on 13th September and Saturn on 29th September. However, for the majority of the month and for the whole of the Sun’s time in your friendship sector, the doors will be open to the past and second chances on the communication and relationship fronts, adding to what will be a good month for personal and professional networking, friendship and relationship building in general. This is also a significant month professionally, with Mars retrograde turn in your work sector on 10th September keeping him here for the rest of the year. Held back by a retrograde phase earlier in the year Venus will finally return to your career sector on 6th September, where she will spend the rest of the month fuelling your professional confidence, attracting opportunities and steering things in a lucrative direction.
